    Description
This course illustrates the principles of chemistry in order for the student to understand how chemistry is used in our society. Experiments explore not only basic concepts in chemistry such as matter, energy, and the atom, but also explore real world applications of chemistry. This includes performing experiments related to the chemistry of the environment, household products, and biochemistry. Students learn how to work safely within the laboratory. This laboratory course is intended for non-science majors.
