Emphasis is placed on providing students with a foundational understanding of industry-standard practices as well as mentoring students in developing their own style, workflows, techniques, and methodologies. Topics include collaborating with clients, assistants, and vendors; developing effective contracts, checklists, timelines, and shot lists; and photographing both methodically and intuitively in dynamic and high-stakes situations. This course is designed for photography majors and those seeking career opportunities in photography.
