Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course covers the use of photographs to illustrate news stories, feature stories, and other narrative content. Emphasis is placed on various approaches to the creation of imagery, from the objective news photo to the persuasive documentary image. Topics include the photojournalist’s interactions with the photo editor/buyer, ethical concerns and power dynamics in the profession, and the equipment used by professional photojournalists in the field.
