Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course focuses on the transition from student to staff nurse, emphasizing the responsibilities of planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating client care. Principles of leadership, delegation, time management, decision-making, collegial communication, group dynamics, conflict resolution, and change are included. The clinical experience requires the application of all previously learned concepts and skills. Acute care, long-term care, or community settings are utilized.
