It provides students the opportunity to apply a combination of skills and knowledge to solve an industrial manufacturing problem. Students work together in groups to tackle an integrated, technical problem selected by industry and approved by program faculty. Topics include, but are not limited to, manufacturing materials and processes, design, quality, lean manufacturing and automation. This course is intended solely for students enrolled in the last semester of the Manufacturing Engineering Technology program, and is a major requirement.
