    This course a study of testing and inspection of printed circuit board assembly automated electronics. Emphasis is placed on implementing the inspection and testing of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and box builds using an in-house automated quality assurance execution system to continually improve product quality and process efficiency. This course is intended for manufacturing technology students who have selected the Electronics Option and students interested in automated electronic inspection and testing, and automated quality assurance. Topics include the history of automated quality assurance and how it affects the world, computer integrated manufacturing, machine vision and other sensors used in industrial applications, and the role of robotics and software used for automated electronic inspection and testing.
