    This lecture/lab course provides basic understanding of how raw materials, including metals, polymers, ceramics and composites, are converted to finished products. In this course, students study commonly used and advanced manufacturing processes, understand the pros & cons of different industrial techniques. Students also learn key terms in manufacturing, and identify various types of equipment in common manufacturing processes. This course is designed for students who are pursuing a career in engineering or engineering technology fields, or working in a manufacturing industry.
