Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course is a study of the types of symbols and engineering notations used for mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams, as well as precision sheet metal drawings and welding specifications. Other topics include scales, precision measurement instruments, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Actual drawings are used to demonstrate concepts and practice in interpreting the symbols and notations. This course is designed for students who are currently working in a manufacturing plant or pursuing a career in an engineering or technology field.
