Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course provides non-native English speakers with the skills to integrate reading, writing, and grammar at the advanced level. Emphasis is placed on applying critical reading strategies to a variety of genres as well as analysis and synthesis of sources. The course also focuses on writing multi-paragraph compositions (including the academic essay), responding to and integrating sources, as well as analyzing and producing grammatical structures in context.
