Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course introduces students to basic techniques and materials used in the painting of scenery for the stage. Emphasis is placed on techniques in faux painting, murals, trompe l'oeil (trick the eye), and decorative motifs for theatre. Students experiment with color mixing, base, layout, ink, lay-in detail, and the use of brushes and tools for application in theatre settings.
