    This course is an introductory hands-on study of the materials and techniques used in stage and production makeup design and application. Emphasis is placed on the acquisition of a lexicon pertinent to the history and use of makeup in the theater as well as on the actual application of stage makeup in the classroom and as a member of the makeup crew for a theatrical and video production. This course is intended for students majoring in drama, theatre, film, radio and television and cosmetology as well as anyone interested in makeup for the stage.
