Emphasis is placed on the analysis of data and practices associated with management of system information and event logs from a security perspective. Topics include network security monitoring (NSM), security information and event management (SIEM) technology, logging implementation, management, and retention, continuous monitoring (CM) and threat modeling as well as data analysis for identifying, responding to, and preventing attacks.
