Topics include drug discovery, development and approval processes, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), good lab practice (GLP), good manufacturing practice (GMP), hazardous materials management, quality control and assurance, and common problems/calculations encountered in a laboratory environment. This course is intended for students interested in becoming a chemical and/or biochemical laboratory technician.
