Topics include quantitative information development, presentation, and analysis; algebraic equations; functions; geometric series; and descriptive statistics. These mathematical techniques are applied to solve a variety of problems in fields such as banking, investments, insurance, inventory control, pricing, payroll, taxes, and loans. Throughout the course, students develop, present, use, and analyze quantitative information in order to select among different options in business-related decisions.
