    Description
    This course is a study of the theory and application of group counseling approaches, methods and techniques related to substance use treatment. Emphasis is placed on the dynamics of small, interpersonal process group interaction. Students develop effective interpersonal communication skills and leadership skills from an interdisciplinary perspective. This course is intended for students in the Alcohol and Other Drug Studies program. Note that material presented in this course is clinical in nature and may not be suitable for the general population of students.
