Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course is a study of the theories and practices related to the family dynamics involved when a member has a substance use problem. Emphasis is placed on therapeutic techniques designed to facilitate effective intervention strategies for the family as a system and for individuals within that system. Topics include assessment, family role delineation, family rules, co-dependency, open and closed family systems, intervention techniques and treatment modalities.
