Emphasis is placed on an analyzing of chemical dependency from an interdisciplinary level and on examining the socio-cultural patterns of dependency. Individual student's potential as a chemical dependency counselor is addressed. Students beginning the Alcohol and Other Drug Studies program should start with this course.
