Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course is a rigorous series of projects encompassing the operation and servicing of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) systems. Projects include taking pressure, temperature and airflow readings on normal and malfunctioning systems, thermodynamic analyses using Mollier diagrams, troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair. Tasks involve the use of various refrigerants and secondary control devices such as pressure regulators and head pressure controls and the use of modern industry-standard tools and test equipment.
