    This course is a sociological and multi-disciplinary examination of aging and the life course with an emphasis on aging as a social process. Topics include demographic trends, historical, cross-cultural, political, and economic forces that influence the experience of aging on individuals and families throughout the lifespan, communities, and societies, with some focus on global patterns.
