    Description
    This course provides an introduction to the health inequities in the United States that stem from unequal living conditions. There is an emphasis on education, socioeconomic status, racism, and gender that shape the health and illness experience and outcomes, including health epidemics, policy development, organization and access to the healthcare system. Health advocacy and social justice will be theoretically demonstrated.
