Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionCourse provides students with the knowledge and skills to access community resources and services for older adults and their caregivers. Includes an introduction to resources, services, eligibility requirements, funding, and the challenges associated with access. Provides an overview of strategies to locate resources and services through direct contact as well as web-based research is also presented. Supports development of the fundamental skills necessary to identify and acquire resources, programs, and services for older adults. Course includes a service learning requirement.
