Emphasis is on laboratory results of moderately complex clients with respiratory, endocrine, renal, musculolskeletal, cardiac, neurological, gastrointestinal, and immune diseases/disorders. Principles of nutrition, drug therapy, health education, concepts of diversity and culturally competent care for individuals from cultural groups within the United States are integrated.
