    Students learn skills related to diagnostic testing of the cardiopulmonary system, cardiac monitoring and 12-lead ECG. Emphasis on the cardiopulmonary system, anatomy, pathophysiology, correlation between cardiac structure and recording on the 12 lead. Course prepares students to work in a medical office, telemetry tech in a medical facility or healthcare organization or hospital. Students learn measurements, normal, abnormal and life threatening cardiac events and interventions. Intended for healthcare worker or student seeking additional job skills.
