    This course emphasizes video and broadcast skills, with a focus on video production, writing, and interviewing for a news magazine show. Students gain hands-on experience in shooting, editing, and producing digital content for news, sports, entertainment, and community events while mastering visual storytelling techniques. The course includes work in a professional, on-campus TV studio, where students can host on air, operate in a control room, or serve in production management roles to create a student-run show that airs on Cox cable. Students will enhance their online research and reporting skills, while exploring ethical aspects of multimedia production to prepare for success in the digital media industry. Also listed as CTVR 106. Credit given in either area, not both.
