- Analysis and application of the design process to space planning, material and finish selection, code compliance, and specification of cabinetry, fixtures, and specialized equipment unique to kitchen spaces. Design solutions for residential kitchens following National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) standards will be developed in the studio. Field trips may be required to meet course objectives.
