Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionA professional course simulating the procedures used in the design department of a garment manufacturer. The student will design misses and junior dresses, lingerie, men's and women's sportswear, active sportswear, after-five, and children's wear. Students will deal with the problems of working ahead of fashion seasons, production costs, sale-ability, and manufacture-ability of garments. Emphasis also will be placed on improving design techniques. Class will attend industry site visits.
