    Description
    Electric motors and controls and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) basics. Includes study of industrial motors and related starters, switches, overload protection, and controllers. Also covers PLC basics, related input and output interfaces, devices, and sensors, and PLC programming. Laboratory exercises emphasize setup, programming, and troubleshooting of common devices and circuits related to motors and PLC's.
