    Description
Construction and measurement of electric circuits. The laboratory experiments will include basic use of electric test equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and function generators. In the labs, the students will construct and lay out circuits and predict their behavior mathematically by using circuit simulation software. Students will interpret measured and simulated data based on principles of circuit analysis for DC and transient conditions. The circuit design will also include practical considerations such as component value tolerance and non-ideal aspects of laboratory instruments. Construction and measurements of basic operational amplifier circuits will also be part of the laboratory activities.
