Transfers ToCSUDescriptionIntroduction to web design and development in creating web pages using modern tools such as Adobe Dreamweaver and WordPress. Teaches basic introduction to HTML and CSS following World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) guidelines and validation. Provides an overview of FTP, internet, social implications, accessibility, and web security. Students will maintain a website on a World Wide Web (WWW) server consisting of HTML, advanced HTML elements such as links, tables, forms, intro JavaScript validation, object and frames, and basic CSS selectors. Using CSS students will configure layouts, fonts, colors and other properties. Includes website integration of Microsoft Word, graphics, video, and sound. Introduces basic web animation and video editing.
