Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course introduces students to business ethics and examines how individual morals and values, social circumstances and organizational environments affect decision making. Students will examine ethical concepts, including social responsibility, and current and emerging ethical issues, such as sustainability, technology, discrimination, and globalization. The course explores an ethical decision-making framework that integrates concepts from philosophy, psychology, sociology, and organizational behavior; reviews the evolution of ethical philosophies; and demonstrates how to develop and implement effective ethics programs in organizations. Case studies and current events provide opportunities for analysis, reflection, and application.
