    Provides students with knowledge and skills for integrated supply chain management and demand planning. Prepares students for designing and managing supply chains for logistics, cost efficiencies, and customer satisfaction. Investigates operations planning, scheduling, sequencing; forecasting and timely planning of orders, materials, capacity, and labor; supply chain networks, efficient product flows, distribution strategies, fulfillment options, and network designs. Prepares students to use technologies in supply chain management for effective supply management, including procurement fundamentals, purchasing processes, and strategic sourcing. This course prepares students to pass the Supply Chain Management Principles CSCMP SCPro™ certification exam taken in class. Credential is awarded by the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).
