    Prepares students for formal and informal leadership positions through the study of leadership theories and the development of leadership skills. The course examines leadership and cultivates the development of self as a leader, an understanding and application of problem-solving approaches, and an understanding and management of situational factors affecting leadership. Topics include leadership attributes, values, ethics, character, behavior, motivation, power, influence, decision making, and problem solving, as well as follower motivation, satisfaction, engagement and development, and team leadership.
