Focuses on application of the scientific method through hypothesis generation and experimental design. Students will learn experimental design, science literature fluency, science writing and presentation, good laboratory practices, equipment use and care, and standard laboratory safety procedures and bioethical concerns associated with research. (HONORS: Original hypothesis-based research project and presentation are required to fulfill the objectives of the course.)
