We will discuss and compare composition; tectonics; volcanism; surface processes; and atmospheric and thermal evolution of earth, the moon, terrestrial, and Jovian planets and their satellites. Additional topics will include meteorite and comet impacts and the possible existence of life elsewhere in the solar system. Field trips may be required to fulfill the objectives of this course.
