An exploration of the basic elements of composition: line, shape, texture, value, color and spatial illusion. Application of those elements using the principles of design: balance, unity, rhythm, pattern & contrast. Development of visual vocabulary and individual aesthetic through lecture presentations, studio projects, problem solving, written assignments and research.
