    Description
    This course provides students with opportunities to learn and apply the skills necessary for developing social competence and engaging in community life. Students will examine strategies for initiating and maintaining positive relationships, practice socially appropriate behaviors in structured activities, and explore inclusive opportunities for participation in social and community contexts. Course content will include applying interpersonal skills, demonstrating social manners and etiquette, engaging in group activities, and collaborating with peers to plan and implement a structured social event. Emphasis is placed on enhancing confidence, fostering interpersonal effectiveness, and supporting lifelong engagement in community participation. Structured for students with disabilities.
