This course presents the application of functional exercise and gait activities, with emphasis on the physical therapist assistant's role in comprehensive treatment of patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, adult or pediatric neurological disorders, and amputation. Data collection activities related to assessing cardiopulmonary status, functional abilities, gait, equipment and assistive devices, and home and community environment are included.
