    Description
    Assistant Program. This course is designed as an overview of central and peripheral nervous system disorders relevant to the practice of physical therapy. Etiology, signs and symptoms, prognosis, and medical/surgical interventions are surveyed. Approaches to physical therapy data collection and interventions are introduced. Emphasis is placed on utilization of knowledge of medical disorders by physical therapist assistants within the context of implementing a comprehensive plan of care.
