Topics include: an overview of behaviorism and other theories of learning, brain structure and function, sensation, perception, attention, short-term/working memory, long-term memory, categorization, generic knowledge, language, decision making, reasoning, problem solving, and creativity. Current topics and controversies in cognitive psychology will be addressed.
