This course will provide a foundation in the principles of the scientific method and practical experience in its application to the study of biological psychology. Specific topics include neuroanatomical organization of the nervous system with special emphasis on the brain; anatomy of neurons and glia; electrophysiology of nerves; anatomy and physiology of sensory systems; and psychophysical examination of sensorimotor processes and states of consciousness.
