Advanced techniques in equalization, spatial placement, automation, and reverberation are investigated. Students' lab work is regularly presented in class for critical evaluation. A routine component of the course is listening exercises to develop critical listening skills in the students. The Music Department's Avid Pro Tools HD Digital Audio Workstation will be used by students for their mixing projects.
