Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course is designed to assist the music major with a music degree program, the college experience, and a career in music. Students will learn about academic and professional expectations and will develop skills to meet them. The topics will include campus resources, academic advising, making career choices, building a portfolio, getting recommendation letters, mentorship, social networking, commissioning, branding, performance and wellness, as well as tips on staying motivated, assessing one's strengths and weaknesses, and managing time and stress. This course is recommended for music students and professionals, emerging musicians and mid-career artists, or anyone interested in a career in music.
