Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course involves instrumental compositional, or vocal study of the appropriate techniques and repertoire for a specific instrument of voice being studied. It focuses on the progressive development of rehearsal and performance skills needed to be a solo performer. This course meets one hour per week so students can practice performing and to discuss topics related to performance practice. It includes seven hours of study by the guidance of a qualified mentor, sixteen hours of individual practice, three performances, and a final juried recital. This course may be repeated to meet the major requirement for transfer to CSU, Sacramento, or to other universities with a similar transfer requirement and may be taken four times for credit.Usually HeldWed 4:30pm–5:20pm
