Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThis introductory course is designed for potential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning/refrigeration (HVAC/R) career professionals such as stationary engineers, commercial refrigeration technicians, commercial HVAC/R control technicians, and residential air conditioning technicians. In this course, students will explore the available career opportunities, be introduced to the fundamentals of refrigeration and technical math associated with this field, and learn the requirements for a certificate in Commercial Building Energy Auditing and Commissioning Specialist, Mechanical-Electrical Technology, Mechanical Systems Technician, and completing the Associate in Science degree in Mechanical-Electrical Technology.
