Topics include polynomial, rational, radical, exponential, absolute value, and logarithmic functions, graphs, and equations; systems of equations; the theory of polynomial equations; analytic geometry including conics; sequences and series; and mathematical induction. Emphasis is given to analytical reasoning and problem-solving. This course may be taken concurrently with MATH 373, Trigonometry for Calculus. Completion of both MATH 372 AND MATH 373 with grades of "C" or better meets the prerequisite for MATH 400, Calculus I.
