    Area 4 This course examines the history of Chicanos/Mexican Americans in North America. It explores pre-Columbian civilizations and the experiences of Chicanos/Mexican Americans within the United States from the colonial period to the present. This course investigates the social, political, economic, legal, and cultural experiences of Chicanos/Mexican Americans and their contributions to American institutions.
