Course content includes instruction in aircraft systems, Federal Aviation Administration regulations, U.S. Airspace System, weight and balance, aircraft performance, aviation weather, flight publications, radio navigation, cross-country planning and navigation, basic attitude instrument flying, instrument approach procedures and techniques, and flight safety. The student must complete the appropriate flight lessons and receive FAA Instrument- Airplane certification to satisfactorily complete the course.
