Course content includes instruction in Federal Aviation Administration regulations, U.S. Airspace System, weight and balance, helicopter performance, aviation weather, flight publications, radio navigation, cross- country planning and navigation, complex and high- performance helicopter systems and operation, and flight safety. The student must complete the appropriate flight lessons and receive FAA Commercial Pilot-Rotorcraft certification to satisfactorily complete the course.
