Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course covers stretch wear from beginning to advanced sportswear such as skating and athletic wear, lingerie, and couture-construction. Students will explore apparel fashioned in silk jersey utilizing tricky construction techniques for collars, cuffs, and pockets. Fibers, such as viscose and rayon jersey, will be explored. Students will construct garments utilizing industrial sewing and serger machines as well as in-class sergers. One field trip is required.
