    Description
    other courses at the appropriate level. Students should attend adult school before taking ESLL 31. This course is part of the listening and speaking sequence that prepares ESL students to take college courses leading to a certificate, degree, and/or transfer. Students focus on learning vocabulary, participate in a variety of listening activities, and discuss a wide variety of topics. Students will learn to recognize and begin to produce the sounds, stress, rhythm, and intonation patterns of American English.
